Ultimate Guide to Møns Klint, Denmark

Møns Klint is a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of Zealand, Denmark. It’s located around 2 hours south of Copenhagen by car. It’s one of Denmark’s biggest and most spectacular natural wonders and definitely worth adding to your bucket list!

When to visit:

We’d definitely recommend staying between 1-3 days depending on how many things you’d like to do here and which season you’ll be visiting in. We recommend visiting in either spring, summer or autumn — all equally beautiful! It’s a popular place to visit in each season — summer season and public holidays are probably the busiest time to visit whereas early spring and autumn isn’t too busy.

Where to stay:

Camp Møns Klint is located 15 minutes away from the cliffs by car. Here you can set up camp with camper van, tent or rent a cabin. They have amazing facilities on the campsite and within reasonable pricing. The prices vary depending on how you want to be camping and in high season it’ll be more expensive than low season. This is a unique and very authentic experience and you’ll get the ultimate “camp vibes".


What to do:

There are heaps of amazing activities such as visiting the geo centre, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling and stargazing — Møns Klint has been named as one of the best places in the world to stargaze.


Visiting Møns Klint will definitely be an unforgettable experience! It’s one of our favourite places here in Denmark.
